Comment from supporter Mr.A

President John Kennedy said “It’s
better to light a candle than to curse
the darkness.” This is precisely the
reason I was drawn to “Unleash Power
for the People.” The organization does
just that---it tries to solve the problems
of some of our planet’s poorest
inhabitants with solutions on a very
personal level. Rather than pour
money into grandiose schemes, it
seeks to help improve the lives of small
groups of people by supplying them
with free electricity supplied through
solar power. Light for a small school.
Power for a modest generator. Electric
pumps to provide water. All using free,
renewable power, from an organization
which uses ALL its resources to meet
these ends. (All administrative costs
are covered by interest income.)
Helping a small group here, then one
there, then one somewhere else---
drops that fill the bucket. I like the
approach.
Time for number 2!

The President of the UK Chapter of Unleash Power (Sally
Rogerson) visited the refugee community in Mozambique, Africa in
the past few weeks.  She met with elders, children, and aid
organizations; and will be giving an update soon.as to what is going
on with our NEXT community!

Mozambique school needs energy from the sun!

As with our first community in Benquet, Philippines, this will be
another school on another continent that we will strive to raise
$20,000 to donate a renewable power generator to provide
electricity.

Once we raise the $20,000 we can focus on the delivery of the unit
through our network of technitions.  We have developed a strong
set of  skills through our participation in the first community and we
will leverage that talent by making this a reality for another
wonderful set of smiling faces.

Power is the start to a better life!

Many of us take for granted our blessings in life,  but providing the
basics of electricity help children get a chance to learn and develop
in ways that gives them a chance.  Please donate and help us to
make a difference to many school children that are less fortunate in
life.

Other Developments!

New directors added.  The Board has been expanded to 5.  We will put out new biographies on the 3 new
directors, as each of them have ability to help us to grow and develop our organization.  Good souls are
always needed and we are proud of our volunteers, donors, directors, and community leaders that help
make this Foundation Possible.

Don't forget the message!

To end this update I'd like to re-mention our mission.  We have a simple deliverable which is to provide
renewable power generators to poor communities in the world without electricity.  By doing this we can
highlight the SOLUTION for both global warming and world poverty eradication.  Our method is simple, but
our reach is broad.  We are attempting to educate both rich and poor alike about the way forward in the
future.

As any good leader will tell you,
"Don't bring me just the problems, bring me the solutions too!"
My hero: Mr. A (Anonymous)

Ever since the video of the Benquet
children came out, Mr. A has delivered
almost daily to my office a box of items
for the kids of Benquet.  Books, socks,
shirts, sunglasses, towels, etc... He's
an amazing man and my hero!

Time for thanks and celebration of life!

We have all had a challenging year.  "2008" may go
down in history as one of the toughest years in the
last century.  However, we have much to be thankful
for.

First, we have started a new concept that has the
potential for making a difference in this world.
Unleash Power For The People was born as an idea
in February and within 10 months has garnered
much attention.  We have successfully completed
donating electricity to a school in the Philippines,
brought on volunteers from all over the world to
help in future missions, and succeeded at building
an infrastructure that will be a platform for many
many more.

I have been honored to meet with many and share
i
deas to make our world a much better place.  I
thank sincerely all the
volunteers and donors that
have made this mission
possible.

N
ow it is time to focus on Africa and we have a goal
of a NEW school in Mozambique!!!

Happy Holidays,
Dave :)
