A joint project by GoGreenSolar and Unleash Power For The People
| The first joint project from GoGreenSolar and Unleash Power For The People is to design, source, deliver, and install the solar generator unit to the school of Benquet, Philippines. GoGreenSolar was instrumental for months in making sure the design was tailored specifically to the needs of the community school and that their technical and fundamental needs would be met. In addition to Deep Patel at GoGreenSolar, several other professional engineer volunteers were very instrumental in the coordination, design, technical aspects, installation, and delivery details. Supporters Praveen Matthews (Johnson Controls New York, NY) and Rodelio Soprano (Laguna, Philippines) were true professionals and extremely critical for our success. The project is a 1.5 Kilowatt (1500 watts) solar panel installation on the largest and most sturdy building in the school. It will be connected to the roof and then the other buildings will be connected through wires run from the main structure. It will be enough to power lights, a computer or two, and in the evening provide for power tool use such as a power saw or power drill for the teachers and parents.
